SomaCentric Dialoguing  1

Did you know that SomaCentric Dialoguing (SCD) was developed in response to requests from therapists like you?

Therapist wanted to learn how to more effectively and more easily do therapeutic dialoguing, such as is taught in SomatoEmotional Release and Therapeutic Imagery, so they asked Julie McKay Covert to teach them how she does dialoguing so easily.

It is the personal experience of Julie McKay Covert, CST-D, NCTMB, course developer, and thousands of other therapists, that when there is unresolved pain, with no obvious physical cause, there is very likely an underlying (emotional) stress that prevents the body from healing completely. When a client can articulate what is happening within their body, they can then better identify the message their body wants them to be aware of and take steps to facilitate complete healing.

Feedback from therapists has been that even if they understand the importance of dialoguing with clients, therapists do not always know how to start dialoguing or what to do if they encounter resistance from their client. These courses were developed to address these obstacles to make any form of dialoguing easier and to effectively work with resistance.

Get better results!

Improve communication and rapport with your clients by going beyond talking and conversing. Identify what language your client speaks and how they process information.

Words are powerful.

What we say carries lots of meanings. Sometimes it’s what we do or do not say that changes the meanings of those words. Do you understand what you are really saying to your client? Do you easily understand what your client is communicating to you?

Do you understand what your client is telling you when she wants to know all about how you are, before she tells you about how she is?

Do you understand what is happening when you ask “How does your leg feel?”, but your client isn’t able to articulate anything?

Get your client saying “She understands me!” and you’ll get better results!
